"We've heard many stories like this: "I scored 80% correctly in my last mock exam from one test prep provider, but I still failed the real test." Why? Does it matter how well you do on a mock exam? Not necessarily! The score of 80% would be meaningless without the ability to compare your score with those of other candidates!

Remember that you are competing against other people. If everybody is better than you, you are not going to pass, no matter how good you are or how hard you study. In June 2005 only 36% of participants passed the CFA Level 1 exam. In other words, you would have to be better than 64% of all candidates to pass it." - www.analystnotes.com

Just got home from school and I'm about to give up on life... full stop. Read that paragraph above? Good. That's precisely the reason why I feel so extremely lost. How on earth will I be able to win those smart people?!!! Be better than 64% to pass... WTH!!! Didn't I mention I can only go as far as 'top 40%' internationally? Grr... top 40% and now I have to push till 'top 36%'. And that's only level one CFA. What about level two and three? The passing candidates will decrease as they go higher. And in order to get to the next level, you must pass the the first level. I cannot tahan larh!!! I can feel the vein on my temple throbbing from sleepless nights. I must be suffering from insomnia!!!

Not to mention that I was only top 40% for 'O' levels. 'O' levels!!! NOT CFA!!! Hahaha I'm literally crying!!! Somebody murder me, PLEASE!!!

For the benefits of readers whom are not familiar with Edexcel International 'O' levels passing grade... read on to understand how the passing grade is being determined.

Facts on grading/passing:
#1. Only top 40% of all the global candidates will pass the exam.
#2. Grade boundaries varies according to the average passing scores.
#3. The exam papers are marked by the original institute.

Fight for your place. That's what I had done and have to keep on doing. And I'm sick and tired of it. Let me repeat it again... I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT!!! I had to fight to pass for 'O' levels and now I have to fight for diploma. And soon I have to fight for CFA. Why can't I be smarter and stayed in Secondary school?

"Humans have a knack for choosing precisely the things that are worst for themselves." How true that is. I can't believe I'm so dumb to actually lead myself to this stressiful meaningless pace. Just because 7As appeared in my end of secondary one report doesn't mean I'm a genius. Ilma is so dumb; stupid!!!

I am Ilma. It means Knowledge.
I'm not your girl next door. I'm unique. I am ME.

It is best to remain silent and let one think you're a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubts.
