A dollar today is worth more than a dollar next year

I'm such a goner. Gone, gone, gone dead.
So today's the first day of school and I practically faint right there and then.
I was so happy it'll be accounting coz no1. I've revised like 24/7 for it making sure I know all the facts and no2. I was definitely confident about accounting. Little did I expect it'll be sooo different from what I've learnt. THEY'VE BLOODY HELL CHANGED THE TIMETABLE WITHOUT INFORMING ME!!!! And like only two or three of the accounting terms are the same as what was taught. Others were all new words for me. Lets see... here's some of the words: bonds, capital structure, debt security, EBIT, IAS, IAS2, GAAP and blah blah blah. Freaking tooot liao!!! And to think all that are only from chapter one of the book... I don't want to think about the other chaps. I sooo need to catch up.
And yeah, my classmates are really nice people. Just that our age difference is wayyy off.
Let's get some introduction going on here.
Tina, Judy and Riggir; they're the first few I got to know.
Really friendly people they are.
Just that Tina's 41 years old; Riggir's 27 and Judy's 25. Hahas
Most of the others hold a top post in their firms in the finance department. And I'm like a 15 year old kid with almost no knowledge in corporate finance. sheesh. But one thing that I DO know is.... MOST OF THEM HAVE WHITE HAIRS!!!! HAHAHA!!!! Now that's what I call OLD.
That's it!!! I'm sooo gonna get the heck of this. I don't care!!! I'm gonna study the stock exchange from now. Watch it go up and down just like watching some cartoons. nyahaha. Just hope the lecturer won't be asking me any question when I'm still blank coz then I'll be the Blur Queen of the Study Hall. Oke, enough about how bad I'm doing. Let's move on to some of the more fun part.
Met Mr. I-can't-remember-who in class. He's from Belgium and holds a damn well PhD and teaches the bachelor and masters programme. Lucky seyyy he didn't take us; cannot understand liao what he said. His Belgium accent was too thick. I was holding back my damn loud laughter all that while. He pronounced finance as finash and some other funny words I could not decipher. Anyway, this Wed, my lecturer will be a Mr. Frank Sinatra!!! No lah, not Frank Sinatra; it's Frank Siegfried. And only God knows how you're suppose to pronounce that 'siegfried'. I know Miss CON-ahem-sultant sure don't know how to pronounce that either. But that 'fried' I know. hehe. He's from Germany. Just hope he won't be talking with the German accent, or else that'll be the end of me.
Guess what!!! My class is now being shifted to the NUS extension in Park Mall. So peeps, take note that it's no longer at Le Meridien Hotel. That's just plain unfair coz I really like it here. sheesh.

Ps. To those who's not sure where I'm studying... It's SMa school of management and I opt to be under City Uni of New York(CUNY). Taking IDFI and the total course period is 10 months. Class is from 7pm till 10pm and is only on the Mondays and Wednesdays.
PPs. Don't blame if you phone me at these times coz I won't be around to answer. Just make sure no pontianak is around to pick it up.Hahas
